As part of a comprehensive vetting process, every lodge in the collection was judged on three main criteria. Firstly the design and character of the property, with a special focus on the celebration of the surrounding area. Secondly the guests overall experience and quality of service. Lastly candidates were judged on how the property demonstrates a commitment to conservation and green operations, and whether they actively support the protection of cultural heritage while providing benefits to the local community.

Inkaterra Machua Picchu Pueblo Hotel is proud to have been selected as a property that represents all of these factors, demonstrating how conservation and sustainability are at the heart of all Inkaterra properties. We hope to have many new visits to Peru in 2015.
