This past October saw the opening of byInkaterra’s newest lodge, Hacienda Concepcion, set in 819 acres of natural rainforest.
The lodge is reached by canoe, located eight kilometres down river from the town of Puerto Maldonado, providing a breathtaking and very secluded setting. One celebrity couldn’t wait to add some star-studded glamour to the lodge…
Yes that’s right, MICK JAGGER… the perfect candidate to cement the lodge’s status as a jungle hotspot and ideal secluded retreat. Mick Jagger visited byInkaterra in October 2011 for a little R&R, and enjoyed wine and nibbles 90ft up in the Canopy Treehouse but also in a bid to help promote the importance of protecting and preserving the area’s environment, something very close to Inkaterra’s own heart.
